General Assembly Meeting Held at Berekum East

The Berekum East Municipal Assembly successfully held its General Assembly meeting, presided over by Hon. Addade, the Presiding Member. The session brought together Assembly Members, officials, and stakeholders to deliberate on key developmental issues affecting the municipality.

During the meeting, the Municipal Budget Analyst, Mr. Felix, presented the Assembly’s composite budget for the upcoming fiscal year. The budget outlined priority areas including infrastructure development, education, healthcare, sanitation, and agricultural support. After thorough discussions and contributions from members, the composite budget was read, debated, and unanimously approved.

Hon. Hajia Fatima Abubakar (MCE) commended the Assembly Members for their cooperation and reaffirmed her commitment to ensuring that the approved budget translates into tangible development projects for the people of Berekum East.
