The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of Berekum East Municipality, Hon. Hajia Fatimatu Abubakari, together with key staff and technical officers of the Berekum East Municipal Assembly, embarked on a working visit to assess the newly completed Berekum Charge Office.
The Berekum Charge Office is one of the flagship legacy projects undertaken and successfully delivered under the current administration led by Hon. Hajia Fatimatu Abubakari. The facility is expected to significantly improve security operations and enhance quick response to incidents within Berekum and its environs.
Highlights of the Tour
During the inspection, the MCE and her team thoroughly toured the premises, examining the offices, charge rooms, holding cells, staff welfare areas, and auxiliary facilities. Hon. Hajia Fatimatu Abubakari expressed satisfaction with the quality of work and timely completion of the project.
“This Charge Office represents our commitment to improving security infrastructure and creating a conducive working environment for our security agencies. A well-equipped Charge Office will strengthen law enforcement and help maintain the peace and security we all desire in Berekum East,” the MCE stated.
She commended the contractors for delivering a quality project and urged the Assembly’s Works Department and consultants to ensure that all completed projects meet the required standards before final handover.
The MCE was accompanied by the Municipal Coordinating Director, Heads of Departments, and other senior officials of the Assembly.
