Bono Regional Minister Tours Berekum East – Inspects Key Development Projects
As part of the Bono Regional Minister's official tour of the Bono Region, the minister arrived the Berekum East Municipality on 16th July, 2026. The visit formed part of his broader regional inspection of completed and ongoing development projects aimed at improving infrastructure and service delivery.
Accompanied by the Honourable Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Berekum East, Hajia Fati Abubakar, the Municipal Coordinating Director, Mr. Eric Adomako, and other dignitaries, the Minister visited several communities within the municipality to assess the progress of projects.
The inspection covered both completed facilities and ongoing works, reflecting the government’s commitment to ensuring that development initiatives meet the needs of the people. The Minister engaged with contractors, Assembly officials, and community members, stressing the importance of quality standards, timely delivery, and sustainability in all projects.
At each site, the Minister commended the collaborative efforts between the Assembly and local communities, noting that such partnerships are vital for achieving inclusive development. He emphasized that the projects inspected ranging from health facilities and educational infrastructure to administrative and community amenities demonstrate the government’s dedication to improving the living standards of residents.
In her remarks, Hon. Hajia Fati Abubakar reaffirmed the Assembly’s commitment to transparency, accountability, and effective monitoring of projects. She assured the Regional Minister that the Assembly would continue to work closely with stakeholders to ensure that all initiatives align with the municipality’s development priorities.
